A Corporate Escapee Who Actually Escaped
In 2021, after 25 years in digital and marketing, everything converged at once. Burnout, perimenopause, ADHD diagnosis, and a growing certainty that I couldn't keep going the way I was going.
I didn't read about burnout recovery. I lived it. I tried the baths, the journalling, the retreats — and I learned that none of it works without structural change. So I made the structural change.
In 2023 I sold everything, moved my family from Cape Town to Southeast Asia, and rebuilt from scratch. I now live and work location-independently — and I help other women do the same work I did: figure out what's actually wrong, strip the friction, and build something that fits.
