About Lianne
I spent 25 years in digital and marketing — across industries, boardrooms, and every kind of business challenge you can imagine. I was good at it. Really good. But in 2021, everything converged at once and my body and mind called time.
Most people would have gone back to the system that broke them. I decided to redesign everything instead.
In 2023 I sold most of what we owned and flew from Cape Town to Southeast Asia with my three kids. Ten countries, three years, and a completely rebuilt life.
A Little More About Me
Most people are doing manually what could be automated — and burning their best energy on the wrong things. I use AI to strip out the repetitive, the draining, the decisions that don't need to be made twice.
Obsessed with what makes people tick. Started a Psychology degree (thanks, ADHD), found coaching instead — practical, transformative, and it's changed me as much as anyone I've worked with.
Sold everything. Flew to the Philippines. Kept moving. Ten countries, three worldschooled kids, a life that finally fits.

The problem is never the woman. It's the amount of friction her system is carrying — physical, cognitive, emotional, structural. When friction accumulates, the nervous system narrows capacity and prioritises survival over thriving.
Low Friction Living is the operating system underneath everything I teach. It's not about doing less for the sake of it — it's about stopping the leak. Identifying where life is asking more of you than it should, and redesigning so the right things happen with less effort, less guilt, and less cost to your nervous system.
It starts with noticing. Then it becomes structural.

What is Low Friction Living?
A coaching practice and a way of thinking about burnout. The core idea: most burnout is caused by structural friction — the accumulated weight of things that cost energy without giving it back. The work identifies that friction, removes it, and redesigns what remains so it actually fits who you are and how you function.
Who does this work best for?
High-achieving women in their 40s and 50s navigating burnout — often alongside perimenopause — who want to recover and redesign, not just cope. Many clients are at a point where they have already crashed, or can feel it coming, and know that rebuilding the same life that broke them is not the answer.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is forward-focused and practical. It helps you identify what is structurally wrong and change it. Therapy addresses the past and treats mental health conditions. They are different tools for different needs. Coaching works best when you are stable enough to work on your life but stuck enough to need structured, honest support to move it forward.
